I’ve had first-hand experience of the positive effects of nutrition for training and performance. I also know what it feels like when it you don’t get it “right”, and I’m passionate to share my knowledge on how to fuel well for YOU! I also love breaking through conflicting nutrition information and can help you separate fact from fiction.

My Qualifications:

My interest in all things nutrition related started during my rowing years in Wellington. Understanding how to fuel, recover and optimise performance with nutritional strategies led me to study Human Nutrition at Otago University, and then onto a Master’s degree in Health Science - Nutrition and Dietetics. My thesis in sports nutrition is around the use of nutrogenomics in athletes - one of the latest topics in the field!

Over the last few years, I’ve gained experience working with everyday exercisers and elite competitors. I am the Performance Nutritionist for the Central Pulse netball team, and I’m also supporting the nutrition program with the Hurricanes Super Rugby team.

I really am passionate about helping others work towards nutrition and lifestyle goals, and I have a focus on providing realistic and sustainable advice. I also love breaking through conflicting nutrition information. I know exactly what it’s like to manage training early morning, head off to study immediately after, complete another gruelling afternoon session, rush home to dinner and bed, then repeat again the next day! Moving on from busy days rowing, I now enjoy running, biking, strength work and walking my dog.
