This privacy statement explains how The Performance Pantry collects, stores, uses and shares your personal information.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU:

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us. You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our site or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number or, includes information you provide when you schedule an appointment (via Acuity or direct correspondance), purchase an appointment (via Stripe) or subscribe to receive our newsletter.

 

  • Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our website we may automatically collect the following information:

    • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;

    • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); page response times, length of visits to certain pages, and page interaction information (such as clicks, and button interaction)

 

USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION:

We use information held about you in the following ways:

·       Information you give us: To respond to enquiries made via our forms, create appointments, send appointment reminders, process payment for appointments, send newsletters, notify you of any changes to our service

  • Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter contact information like email address or phone number, we’ll be unable to schedule an appointment on our booking system.

·       Information we collect about you: To allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so, to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we may serve to you and others, and to deliver relevant advertising to you.

STORAGE OF INFORMATION:

We store all our data (including your personal information) on a secure cloud platform with encrypted files (Google Drive). We protect our data with all reasonable technical and process controls. We also keep your data secure by only allowing our Sports Nutritionists to access it.

We are legally required (The Health (Retention of Health Information) Regulations 1996) to keep your health information for 10 years from the last time we provided services to you at which point we securely destroy it.

ACCESS TO INFORMATION:

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at becky@theperformancepantry.co.nz.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY:

We may update this privacy statement from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Privacy Act, so feel free to check in again to see what might have changed. This statement was last updated in December 2021.
