MEET OUR TEAM:

Together, we bring over 60 years of clinical nutrition experience and ongoing learning to our work. We don’t pretend to know everything, science is always evolving, and working with real people teaches us something new every day. Our team has strong backgrounds in nutrition, exercise, and sport, alongside life experience (including parenting for some of us!). Each of us has particular areas of interest and expertise, but we all share a broad and solid foundation across key areas of nutrition practice.

BECKY JONES - LEAD SPORTS DIETITIAN

    I have over 10 years in elite sport and dance, working with World Champions and elite athletes in a wide range of sports, and many “every day athletes”! I love helping people realise their potential through nutrition, that extends far beyond weight and/or appearance. It is hugely rewarding to help someone navigate their own plan, and provide long lasting nutrition skills for life beyond a performance environment.

    • High Performance nutrition

    • Understanding fuel needs for training and within-day-energy balance

    • Support with low energy availability, disordered eating, eating disorders in sport and dance

    • Weight concern in sport - ditch the diet and focus on performance, health and functionality

    • Support Team nutrition education, collaboration and best practice - Coaches, Physio, S&C etc.

I’ve had first-hand experience of the positive effects of nutrition for training and performance as an elite junior NZ rower. I also know what it feels like when it you don’t get it “right”. I know exactly what it’s like managing working with training early morning, after work and at weekends, in my experience as a rower and age group Triathlete.

Having been involved in junior elite gymnastics and other sports from a young age, I understand the challenges that come with these environments from factors like a busy schedule and body image pressures. As a mum, I also understand how it is tricky to support a face-paced lifestyle with balancing eating habits. I’ve been a dietitian for over 10 years, and love working in this area supporting people to build a healthier relationship with food, body and performance.
