We have strong backgrounds in sport and competing ourselves, alongside our own lived experience. BECKY JONES - LEAD SPORTS DIETITIAN

    I have 20 years experience as a Dietitian; 15 of those working with elite NZ athletes, professional dancers, Olympians, World Champions and many weekend warriors. I love helping people realise their potential with nutrition, that extends beyond weight and appearance. It is hugely rewarding to help someone navigate their own plan, and provide long lasting nutrition skills for life beyond a performance environment.

    • Understanding fuel needs for training and life

    • Support with low energy availability, REDs, disordered eating and eating disorders

    • Weight concerns and body image concerns in sport - a non-diet approach

I’ve had first-hand experience of the positive effects of nutrition for training and performance as an elite junior NZ rower. I know exactly what it’s like managing work or study with training early morning, after work, and at the weekends, because I’m living now it too as an age group Triathlete!

LUCY BURROWS - SPORTS DIETITIAN

  • High Performance CrossFit athlete

Having been involved in junior elite gymnastics and other sports from a young age, I understand the challenges that come with these environments from factors like a busy schedule and body image pressures. As a mum, and a top CrossFit athlete I also understand how it is tricky to support a face-paced lifestyle and my own training with balancing eating habits. I’ve been a dietitian for over 10 years, and love working in this area supporting people to build a healthier relationship with food, body and performance.

  • Endurance (Triathlon, Trail Running, Road Running, Cycling, Multi-sport)
