Kia ora, I’m Becky, Specialist Sports Dietitian and founder of The Performance Pantry. Since 2015, my mission has been to cut through the noise of conflicting nutrition advice and provide trusted, practical and evidence-informed support for athletes.
With strong qualifications and years of experience working with real people, not textbooks, we believe good nutrition should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, ability, body size, or identity. Our focus is not just on health, training, and performance, but also on building a positive relationship with food, body, and mind.

I have over 18 years experience as a Dietitian, and more than 12 years within elite sport. I currently work with a range of elite NZ athletes, elite and professional dancers. I love helping people realise their potential through nutrition, that extends far beyond weight or appearance - let’s chat about all the other nutrition strategies that optimise health & performance! It is hugely rewarding to help someone navigate their own plan, smash through the myths and provide long lasting nutrition skills for life and future adventures.

I’ve had first-hand experience of the positive effects of nutrition for training and performance as an elite junior NZ rower. I also know what it feels like when it you don’t get it “right”. I know exactly what it’s like to manage training early morning, head off to study immediately after, complete another grueling afternoon session, rush home to dinner, then repeat it all again the next day. Let me share my tips with you! I completed my first half iron-man in 2023 in 5 hours 37 min, was 2nd in my age group and 5th female overall.

I know this first-hand from my own experience as an endurance runner, training and competing in marathon and ultramarathon distance, but also professionally from over 15 years clinical nutrition experience. Having been involved in junior elite gymnastics and other sports from a young age, I understand the challenges that come with these environments from factors like a busy schedule and body image pressures. As a mum, I also understand how it is tricky to support a face-paced lifestyle with balancing eating habits. I’ve been a dietitian for over 10 years, and love working in this area supporting people to build a healthier relationship with food, mind, body and performance, and I’m excited to be able to work with you!
